Partner Jaehyun Oh obtained a $300k settlement on behalf of a 50-year-old woman who required a double mastectomy due to physicians’ misread of radiology scan. Ms. Oh consulted with a highly qualified women’s diagnostic imaging expert to argue that a breast tumor was missed for over five years despite prior mammograms showing the tumor, causing the client’s invasive cancer to progress. Moreover, even after the lump was diagnosed, the physicians mislabeled the location of the tumor, causing the client to lose the wrong breast.
