Lawsuit Filed Challenging Cabot Oil’s Drilling Practices

The Jacob Fuchsberg Law Firm filed a lawsuit on behalf of more than fifteen families in Dimock, Pennsylvania, against natural gas drilling company Cabot Oil. The complaint asserts that the families suffer environmental contamination and pollution caused by the conduct and activities of Cabot. It is alleged that Cabot caused the release of combustible gas into the underground water supply and discharged hazardous chemicals and industrial wastes onto properties and into local streams. The families are requesting a clean up under the Hazardous State Clean Up Act and medical monitoring, as well as compensatory damages for their emotional distress, personal injury and loss of property value. Nearly 1000 coats collected as the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Firm sponsors coat drive.

The Jacob Fuchsberg Law Firm sponsored the 2009 KISS Kids Coat drive on December 11. Nearly 1000 coats were collected and distributed to homeless shelters across New York City.

The success of the mediations will be assessed, scrutinized, and evaluated.
