Jacob Fuchsberg: A Champion Of Individual Rights, A True Advocate
In the 1920s, Henry Cohen was one of the first lawyers in the country to represent individuals injured in accidents. His son-in-law, Jacob ("Jack") Fuchsberg, joined with him and built a practice that was way ahead of its time, expanding the scope of services to include medical malpractice, workplace injuries, discrimination and many other causes of action.
In fact, Jack Fuchsberg became one of the most influential and outstanding trial lawyers in America. He was the first lawyer ever to win a personal injury verdict of more than $1 million. Ultimately, Jack was selected to serve as a judge on the Court of Appeals, New York's highest court. He was praised particularly for championing individual rights.
Jack Fuchsberg's legacy lives on today. The Jacob Fuchsberg Law Firm consists of a team of highly skilled attorneys, whose experience and compassion are unparalleled in the legal marketplace.
